My dream is to become a fulltime writer and streamer. My first book in a three book series is complete, but is in the editing stage. I hope to have it published on Amazon by this summer, 2024. I also want to stream on a regular basis on Twitch, which can take time away from my writing.
I have to come up with a plan to be able to juggle both of what I love to do. I know I can do it, but I need to prioritize my life to position that things that are more important to the front of the line. I will be working on the three book series at least for the next couple of years, while also streaming on a regular basis.
It seems like there are always obstacles in the way for me to do this without stress and disappointment. I know these little times of despair will allow me to take a step back, and readjust how I am working on my goals.
There are times I want to give up and just quit, but I know this is what I am supposed to do.
I know that writing is my way of expressing my imagination, and allowing people to see the world through my eyes. I also know that streaming allows me to build a positive community of people, where I can encourage, inspire and motivate to be better, and to let them know they are not alone.
The hard thing is, in all of these dreams, I need to make a living. I need to get paid for what I do. People buying my book. Followers subscribing to my Twitch channel, and other things. It is hard to ask for support, at the same time of telling them I am here for them and just enjoy when they come and watch me when I stream.
My dream is to be able to do it fulltime, so my wife does not have to work so hard.
I know that in time, as I grow, this will happen naturally. But, it does not change the fact of how hard it is to request subscriptions, donations and bits. I have come to the conclusion, that I will do what I love and enjoy, and express that to those who are watching me. In time they will see this, and want to help support this joy and excitement, because it will also spread to them.
I want to be infectious in a positive community and change peoples lives for the better through gaming and streaming.
